Investments Associate

Kent focuses on investment evaluation and diligence for new acquisition opportunities and assists in long-term value creation across Second Horizon Capital’s portfolio.

Prior to joining Second Horizon Capital in 2024, Kent was a Senior Investments Analyst at Ventas, a leading real estate investment trust specializing in healthcare assets, where he was responsible for transaction management and diligence, portfolio and asset-level evaluation, market research and strategy, and ongoing portfolio analysis.  Kent began his professional career at Huron Consulting Group.

Kent serves as a Board Member of the DreamCatchers Foundation, a non-profit organization that empowers students and communities to fulfill the dreams of hospice patients.

Kent has a BS in Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
